Living a prayerful life can be touchy to some but if you are a Christian, it might be a way of life for you. From getting up in the morning to the supper table and at bed time, kneeling and praying before God can be the routine. How then, if this isn't your routine, can you get meaning and learn to love better and live the loving life you always dreamed of?
You have to look at prayer as a form of communication. Communication can break down walls just like going to see a shrink. Here though, we are talking about the power of God. Where there is communication, knowledge of one another grows. Getting to know God through prayer can help because God is love.
Joy, peace, love, and completeness are all feelings from within. These can all be achieved through prayer. Prayer comes from the heart and not from your head. True emotional feelings; what comes from the heart is always ones true self. You may not always get what you want through prayer, but what you think you want may not be truly whats needed. Remember, it's from the heart.
By praying, you can draw pleasure from as well as give pleasure. If your prayers can help heal someone, in turn wont you feel pleasure? In this way, daily prayer can lead to the most loving life you have ever experienced and only the type of life God can provide through prayer. Christian or not, who doesn't want that?
