Blest are They

Imbedded deep within the human heart is the desire to help those who are less fortunate.  Living in this land of abundance, many times we take for granted all the blessings that are ours.  Sometimes we need a wakeup call.  Many religions espouse the golden rule, ‘do unto others as you would have others do unto you”.    Christian religions quote Holy Scripture  saying, “whatsoever you do to the least of my people, that you do unto me”.  Guided by these principles, many people extend themselves to the needs of the poor in their own country.  Many teens today spend their break periods venturing into other countries to help provide food, clothing and build homes.  They are a blessing to all whose lives they touch, but they are http://missionworkvoice.com/2009/08/19/a-blessing-to-all-people.html also blessed for their generosity and care.
